Loma Carr's Healing hands is about providing a service in
helping people to gain the most out of their lives including a
mobile service for clients unable to travel due to disability or
injuries implementing massage techniques e.g.
remedial/sports/relaxing aromatherapy or emotional release
massages. Also, Reiki, Spiritual Healing, Guidance and workshops
using techniques such as crystals, colours, sounds, art,
meditation, sand play essential oils and imagination. Creating a
holistic approach to health and well being from an energetic
level through to the physical keeping in mind the clients mental
or psychological well being. I am currently studying a diploma
in counselling. The difference between me and my competitors is that I work outside the box and am able to apply different techniques to suite that particular injury or to soothe and relax. I am very versatile with many solutions for many situations and I also teach and explain what is happening to the client's own body, treating each as an individual and separate case. Giving advice on home care and educating my clients on the process of healing the body through massage; it not only sets the physical body on the road to recovery but also imparts a sense of hope for a liveable life with less pain and a sense of well being. I have been told many times that my intuitive approach to massage actually works creating more flexibility, less pain, more movement in joints and the sense of being cared for with compassion and humour to help ease current issues.
